For large-scale production of panel furniture, the high efficiency advantages of UV/EB curing technology have been fully exploited. In the surface veneering and edge banding processes of panel furniture, UV-cured adhesives can cure rapidly, enabling high-speed automated production. After a certain panel furniture manufacturing enterprise introduced UV curing edge banding equipment, the production line speed was increased from the original 15 meters per minute to 30 meters per minute, doubling the production efficiency. At the same time, the edge banding quality was significantly improved, and the bonding between the edge banding strips and the boards became more firm, with problems such as delamination and detachment being less likely to occur.
In addition, UV/EB curing coatings can also be used as surface decorative coatings for panel furniture. Through processes such as roller coating and flow coating, a smooth and flat coating can be formed on the surface of the board, simulating various textures such as wood grain, leather, and metal. This enables the panel furniture to have an appearance effect comparable to that of solid wood furniture or high-end material furniture, while significantly reducing the cost and bringing higher economic benefits to enterprises.
