Solid wood furniture: Creating a high-end texture
In the field of solid wood furniture, UV/EB curing technology is widely applied in the coating process. Traditional solid wood furniture coating often fails to fully display the natural grain of the wood, while UV/EB curing varnish can form a uniform, transparent and hard protective film without covering the wood grain. After a well-known solid wood furniture brand adopted UV-cured clear varnish, the surface of its furniture presented a crystal clear effect. The natural color and texture of the wood became clearer and more beautiful. Once the product was launched, it was enthusiastically pursued by consumers, with sales increasing by 40% year-on-year.
Meanwhile, UV/EB curing coatings can also be used for coloring and coating solid wood furniture. By adding different color pastes, a rich variety of colors can be mixed, and the colors have high saturation and good durability. Whether it is the simple and elegant dark color series or the fresh and bright light color series, they can all be perfectly presented, meeting consumers' diverse aesthetic demands.
Panel furniture: Achieve efficient production
For large-scale production of panel furniture, the high efficiency advantages of UV/EB curing technology have been fully exploited. In the surface veneering and edge banding processes of panel furniture, UV-cured adhesives can cure rapidly, enabling high-speed automated production. After a certain panel furniture manufacturing enterprise introduced UV curing edge banding equipment, the production line speed was increased from the original 15 meters per minute to 30 meters per minute, doubling the production efficiency. At the same time, the edge banding quality was significantly improved, and the bonding between the edge banding strips and the boards became more firm, with problems such as delamination and detachment being less likely to occur.
In addition, UV/EB curing coatings can also be used as surface decorative coatings for panel furniture. Through processes such as roller coating and flow coating, a smooth and flat coating can be formed on the surface of the board, simulating various textures such as wood grain, leather, and metal. This enables the panel furniture to have an appearance effect comparable to that of solid wood furniture or high-end material furniture, while significantly reducing the cost and bringing higher economic benefits to enterprises.
